Description	Description Renounce the sickly diet of saccharine pop music and tear into a solid piece of MEAT. MEAT is a nightclub dedicated to playing hard, danceable industrial and EBM. From its humble beginnings in a SOMA warehouse, to its current home at the DNA Lounge, MEAT brings you hard music, memorable décor, and of course, meat. History MEAT is an industrial and EBM dance music event. It started in February of 2002 as a one-off party intended to showcase the vast amounts of under-represented music in the genre, as well as attempting to set expectations in regards to atmosphere and mood. It was successful, and demand rose for another MEAT event. MEAT moved to a new location where it continued for the rest of the year. The event went on hiatus for several months in order that the organizers might prepare the event for bigger and better circumstances. September of 2003 saw MEAT resurface, and make it's debut at the DNA lounge nightclub. A large amount of work was put into decorations and making the event run without a hitch. Everything came together as was hoped, and the event continues to reside at the DNA Lounge, where it occurs monthly. Below is a little video that will give you a taste of what MEAT is all about.
