Wednesday, November 19, 2003 : Lineage
We're bringing in a band from New York called Celldweller. Normally, we'd be a little worried about the idea of a band at a dance club, but we have such faith in how good Celdweller's live show is, that we felt it was not only worth it, but imperative that we have them perform. The rest of the night will be the same MEAT you know and love.
The Celldweller website has a description and some video of their live show. Their live show takes on a non-traditional format, replacing the typical song to song sequence with a less formatted mix of their music where song elements are revisited throughout the set. Video and other performance aspects are integrated into the show. This is far from the much maligned industrial "karoke" show, as the band has a live drummer, 2 guitarists, synths, bass, vocals, and for some performance pieces, everyone is playing percussion.
oh, and Devon will be a year (and a day) older.

Aside from the single band, the rest of the night will be the regular MEAT dance club format.
