Thursday, February 15, 2007 : Lineage This celebrates the 5 year anniversary of MEAT.Five years. Yes, it really has been five years since the first MEAT. It's been amazing ammounts of fun throwing this party, and it couldn't happen with out all of you. This coming Thursday, February 15th, we celebrate the past 5 years, and look forward to the next five. This party has seen a lot of changes and growth over the years. It's hard to belive that what started as a simple one-off party could satisfy the musical hunger and cravings so many people for so long. Anniversay parties are all about giving something back to everyone who has been there for the party, and this one is no exception. MEAT & BONES - MEAT 5 year anniversary Thursday, February 15th, 2007 DNA Lounge - 375 11th st @ Harrison 9:30pm-3am $6 21+ W/ID Mainroom - MEAT - Industrial, EBM DJs: Devon, Mitch, Netik, Ritter Gluck Lounge - BONES - Goth, Deathrock DJs: Melting Girl, Merrick, Miz Margo Continuing with the theme of satisfying hunger, we're bring back our favorite talented and sexy brain-craving Zombies, The Living Dead Girlz. These winners of the Guardian's "Best of the Bay 2006 dance troupe", have put together a wonderful new show for this night. It will be a little messy, but no where near as messy as last year, and we will be supplying plastic sheets to the first few rows for protection. Those (sissys) in the back should be safe from the gore. Free bitter Valentines photo station. A whole lot of you got your pictures taken there last year, and by popular demand, we're bringing it back. So get revenge on your deadbeat sweetie who took you to McDonalds on Valentines day and get your photo taken with somebody better. Giveaways from: Metropolis Records, FAKTORY, Living Dead Girlz, and more. The giveways will happen around midnight, followed immediately by the performance by the Living Dead Girlz.
